Functional Overview
ACME SCORPIUS is the all-weather beam moving head fixture. It powered by the Philips® MSD Platinum 25R discharge lamp technology, color temperature 7800K, and CTO color temperature from 2700 kelvin to 7800 kelvin with linear-gradient. High quality & large optical lens, diameter of the front lens is 193mm. Beam angle is 1.8 degrees, the illuminance at 5 meters distance is 4,400,000 lux; At 10 meters distance is 1,100,000 lux, creates a long throw beam light. It looks solid, uniform and ultra-sharp in the dark sky. Furthermore, the Scorpius is equipped with mutil-functions to make the lighting effect more and more wonderful! Smooth CMY color mixing, 14 colors plus white, easily creates the rainbow effect in bi-direction, as well as offering this wide range of color options, the Scorpius has also fitted with two independent GOBO wheels. One boasts 7 interchangeable rotating GOBOs plus open, and the other features 18 static GOBOs plus open. Equipped with 6-facet liner prism and 8-facet prism, both are individually rotatable & be overlaid to generate unique effects. Independent frost filter, easily turn the hard-edged beam into a more subtle wash effect that’s perfect for flooding stages and seating areas with color. Each effect can be switched flexibility by the motorized focus. The enclosure is made of die-casting aluminum, with IP66 protection rate, which can be used outdoors all year round. With smart design of heat dissipation construction, to ensure the discharge lamp life and smooth operation.
