After multiple tests and comparisons, Stadsgehoorzaal Kampen has opted for Prolights to replace all conventional lighting with LED.
For this purpose, the EclipseHDTWC profile spot and the Eclipse fresnel TW LED Fresnel.
Both are equipped with a 6 color LED engine.

And then suddenly there is a very large truck in front of the door. A truck from Italy full of new ones #LED fixtures. After a lot of research, the Stadsgehoorzaal Kampen has opted for the theater LED spots from PROLIGHTS – Professional Lights.
In the main hall, the profile spots are replaced by the ECLIPSEHDTWC. An advanced 380 Watt LED profile spot with 6-color mixing (red, orange, cyan, royal blue, green, lime). In addition, the large hall will soon have 12 ECLIPSEFRESFTW. A 260 Watt LED replacement for the traditional 1K Fresnel lamps.
The Vestzaktheater will be equipped with the ECLIPSEFRESSELJTW an LED replacement for the traditional 650 W Fresnel lamps. The little sister of the Fresnel in the main room provides sufficient light with 130 Watt.
We have together with Distrix's "creative technology" en PROLIGHTS – Professional Lights rewritten the firmware so that a LEE color number can be chosen on the spots (let's call it V1). The selection of the color is therefore done in the spot and not in an extra light table or processor. For example, we have fewer components in the DMX network, which can cause failures or malfunctions. But the spot can of course also be controlled in multi-color for those who would like to use it!!
If the color number is not in the spot, working with filters in the filter holder works amazingly well in our opinion.
This summer (2019) both halls will be converted from halogen to LED. It will also take some getting used to for us, and of course for the companies too. LED is absolutely not the same as halogen, we are well aware of that! But we hope that this choice is a step in the future. We think that this firmware is a godsend for the way of working in Dutch theaters.
In addition to the LED fresnel and LED profile, the Lumifix8h added and is already being used with great pleasure Leo battery spot and the Luma1500 moving head.
